Vox qualify for ESL One Cologne

Vox Eminor has taken out the Oceanic ESL One Qualifier and is now set to join the world's best in Cologne after defeating Immunity 2:0 in the final.

With the competition and quality of teams in Australia on the rise, a qualifier was held to see who would represent the Oceanic region at ESL's latest edition. The favourites Vox Eminor had a smooth run through to the final while Immunity had a tough challenge from AVANT GARDE which required them to come back from an astonishing 14-1 deficit on de_nuke to meet Vox Eminor in the final.

The final started off on de_inferno with Vox Eminor jumping out to a commanding half lead of 13-2 on the favoured CT side. To their credit Immunity hit back and pushed the map all the way until the 29th round where Vox Eminor finally cracked the A site and took the round and the map 16-13.

Teams then moved onto de_nuke and once again Vox Eminor put up some big numbers leading 11-4 at the swap of sides. Immunity could not repeat their semi-final de_nuke heroics and Vox Eminor ran away winners 16-7 to book their place in Germany.

Vox Eminor will now begin their preparations for ESL One Cologne which runs from August 14-17 at Gamescom.
